S.K.Y. Yoga Young Yogis Soar!  Choose from 4-Week Series of Mommy & Me, Kids' Yoga, and Pre-Teen/Teen Classes this Fall

Mommy & Me

This class is an amazing opportunity to begin rebuilding strength and gain awareness of how your body has changed since pregnancy while savoring time with your little one in a fun, relaxed environment. We’ll work on strength building poses in the areas moms need it most including, core, pelvic floor, legs and upper body alongside breathing to help you remain present amid the craziness of having an infant.  Babies will be incorporated into a variety of poses and also do a little yoga of their own! Six weeks to crawlers welcome.

Kids' Yoga

These classes are specially crafted for kids ages 1 1/2-3 , 4-7 and 6-10 . We’ll focus on yoga poses specifically adapted for kids in a fun, accessible way that build physical strength and self-confidence. Kids will also learn breathing techniques they can use throughout the day to help manage emotions and cope with tough situations.  Kids are under increasing amounts of stress and pressure in today’s culture; this class offers them a safe place to let go, be themselves and learn fun, easy tools they can use in their day to day lives. Teen and Pre-Teen Yoga Wall Play

Stretch, strengthen, and refresh the brain hanging upside down.  Release your spine and listen to music with your friends in a welcoming, non-competitive environment.

Learn how to use Yoga to focus on your future goals and de-stress; to visualize your dream life, love yourself, and build inner confidence; and to exercise and play in your bodies.

Tibetan Singing Bowl Meditation CLASS BLISS

A new bi-weekly class with Rick and Evelyn.  This one-hour meditation class starts at 4:00 PM.  Float away as Evelyn and Rick play the bowls.  Registration with class card membership or $18.00 walk-in. Relax, Recuperate and Recharge - and much more!  According to Tibetan oral tradition, the existence of singing bowls dates back to 560-480 B.C.  Singing bowls produce sounds which invoke a deep state of relaxation, which naturally assists one in entering deep states of meditation.  Tibetan bowls are also used for stress reduction, holistic healing, with Reiki and inner balancing.  Clinical studies have shown that sound can boost the immune system, decrease stress hormones, lower heart rate and blood pressure, and induce alpha and theta brainwave patterns associated with production of endorphins, the body's natural pain killers.  The calming sounds of the bowls and gongs enter the body in a targeted way to heal, restore feelings of well-being, reduce pain and release stress and joy!  Please register online as we like to set up the room for your arrival and comfort.
